Journey

‘Journey’
by Stephen Kirk

I’m setting out to know you God

I want to know your love for me

I want to be so one with you

I live in you, you breathe in me.

I want to find that secret place

Where you and I meet face to face

Where all the yearnings of my heart

Are met inside your endless love

I want to find that secret place

Where you and I meet face to face

Where all the yearnings of my heart

Are met inside your endless love.

I’m setting out to know you God

I want to know your plan for me

I want to see your Spirit move

And make me who I’m meant to be.

I want to give my all to you

To serve you and to worship you

So bring your Word to life in me

And let your will be done in me.

Oh beauty so ancient

Oh beauty so new

I’m searching, I’m longing

To find my life in you.

So guide now my journey

Call now to my heart

Draw me to the place where

I can run into your arms.
